Table runner and felted sculpture

I carried this heavy piece of driftwood  for ages back from the banks of the river Severn you can find some great pieces down thereI then felted 3 stones on the top and this ball and spikes below.

I made this table runner from a uTube video from Misourri quilts they are a great source of ideas for quilting,the object was too use up all your odd 2 1/2 inch strips great I thought I had plenty but when I got them out they were all different widths mostly too small.So I cut up  a piece of fabric I had dyed using the Kemshall method which gives you this fantastic colour range I am well pleased with it and even my husband approves
